You get Wade, not a dispatcher

The phone is answered around the clock Monday through Friday, and the man who answers it is the man who turns up. If he cannot pick up he calls back the same day, including on days he is not working. One customer rang at half past one on a cold windy afternoon and had the tank pumped before the day was out.

Plenty of coast properties have had the lid grassed over for years. One system had gone twenty four years without being touched and nobody on the property knew where it was. Wade probed the yard, read the run of the line off the house and had the lid open shortly after arriving. Finding it is part of the job, not an extra on the bill.

Hoses run from the riser back to the truck rather than being dragged across the whole yard, and the tank is drawn down and cleaned out properly instead of skimmed. That twenty four year job was found, opened, pumped and finished inside two hours.

The lid goes back down, the turf is reseated and the hoses are rolled up. This is the part customers write about afterwards. One review says the yard had no damage at all. Same family, same coast

We put our first website up in 1999. It already said sixteen years.

That page is still online somewhere, in the typeface of the day, listing the same three things we started with: tanks and field lines installed, tanks and field lines repaired, tanks pumped. Sixteen years of experience in 1999 puts the family on the Gulf Coast since the early eighties, and the work has not changed much since. The trucks got newer and the phone got busier.

Wade Boroughs still runs it and still turns out himself, which is why the reviews use his name instead of the company’s.

Before you call

The questions we get asked most.

That is a normal call, not an unusual one. Plenty of properties on the coast have had the lid grassed over for years, and one customer's system had gone twenty four years without anyone touching it. Wade probes the yard, reads the run of the line off the house, and finds the lid before any digging starts.

For most Gulf Coast households it lands somewhere between every three and five years, and it moves with how many people live there and how much water goes through the tank. If you cannot remember the last time it was done, that by itself is the answer.

No. Keeping the yard intact is the part of this job we care most about. Customers write about coming out afterwards to find no damage and no sign anyone had been working, and that is the standard every job is held to.

Slow drains across the whole house, gurgling, a patch of grass that stays wet or unusually green over the field line, or a smell outside near the tank. Any of those is worth a phone call before it becomes a backup indoors.

Saturdays run eight to five and the weekday phone is open around the clock. Wade has turned out on a holiday weekend for a customer whose system had failed, and has taken calls on his days off rather than leave someone waiting.
