The owner

Wade Boroughs

Wade Boroughs runs Gulf Coast Septic out of 9412 Martin Ave in Ocean Springs, and he is the one who turns out on the job, not a crew sent in his place. That is why the reviews use his first name instead of the company name, and why the same handful of things get said about him over and over: he answers the phone, he finds tanks nobody else can locate, and he leaves a yard looking like nobody was ever in it.

“To our knowledge our system had not been serviced for 24 years, and we did not even know where the tank was. Wade showed up and in amazing short order found the tank, located the lid and was on the way to getting it pumped out. All within 2 hours. Cleaned up so well you would not even know he was there.”

Beau Cummins, Google review

“Mr. Wade came out on a holiday weekend and rescued us from our septic troubles! On time, very courteous, and professional! Highly recommend!”

Where forty years comes from

Our first website went up in 1999. It already said sixteen years.

That old page listed the same short list of work we still do: tanks and field lines installed, tanks and field lines repaired, tanks pumped. It also said, plainly, “Family Owned & Operated, 16 Years Experience.” Sixteen years before 1999 puts the start of the business in the early eighties, which is where the “more than forty years” on this site comes from. It is not a round number picked for the sake of one. It is what the family’s own page said about itself, before this website existed at all.

The truck has changed more than once since that photo was taken. The name on the door, the phone number, and the person who answers it have not.
